Kwicut

Kwicut is more cost effective and safer than acetylene and provides faster cleaner cuts than propane.

Kwicut is pure propylene (C3H6) and cuts at a speed that matches acetylene. Whats more cuts that are made with Kwicut have a uniform kerf width, smooth surface and slag falls away easily.

Kwicut is a safer fuel gas than acetylene.

Unlike acetylene which is inherently unstable, Kwicut is stored as a liquid and does not require containment in a stabilising medium (usually acetone). Kwicut ignites easily in a welding or cutting torch but has a smaller flammable range (2.4%-10.1%) than acetylene (2.5% to 81%) making leaks less hazardous. Kwicut is non-toxic and generally non-corrosive.

When it comes to storage and ease-of-use Kwicut has all the benefits of propane and none of the disadvantages of acetylene.

It requires fewer fuel gas cylinders than acetylene, less oxygen than propane, and does not clog nozzles or regulators.
